What this app does
Memojo lets you search photos in your device’s native gallery using
natural language. To do this, the app reads photo metadata and
content on your device and builds a local index that never leaves
your device.
Data we process

Photos (and their metadata): processed locally to create a
searchable index and enable natural-language photo search.

On-device index: a searchable index stored only on your device.
We do not:

collect or transmit your photos, metadata, search queries,
contacts, location, identifiers, or diagnostics to our servers;
- sell data;
- use third-party trackers or ads SDKs.
Data sharing & transfers

None. We do not send your data to anyone. No international
transfers occur because no data leaves your device.
Analytics

We do not collect analytics in the app and we do not use
third-party analytics SDKs.

Apple may provide us aggregated and anonymous metrics in App Store
Connect—such as downloads, sessions, crashes, and app
deletions—from users who have chosen to share diagnostics with
developers at the system level. These reports do not identify you
and do not contain your content.
Legal basis (GDPR)
We do not act as a controller of your personal data because we do
not collect it. Any processing of your photos is a local device
operation under your control and for your personal/household
purposes. If you contact us (e.g., support email), we will process
that message solely to respond, then delete it within a reasonable
period.
Your choices and controls

Revoke and limit Photos access: iOS Settings → Apps → Memojo →
Photos.

Delete the app: removes the local index and app data from your
device.

Face ID/Touch ID lock (if enabled): biometric data is managed by
iOS and never leaves your device.
Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. The app
contains no user accounts and no data collection.
Security
- All processing is on-device.
- No cloud databases, no external servers.

If you enable an in-app lock, authentication is handled by iOS
(Face ID/Touch ID); we do not access your biometric data.
Permissions we request (iOS)

Photos: To access the device’s photo library for on-device
indexing, allowing you to search using natural language. All data
stays on-device, no internet connection is needed or used.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the
“Effective date.” Substantial changes that introduce data collection
will require your consent and an updated App Privacy label.
